WITT & ANDERSON, A Professional Corporation is a
full-service litigation law firm. Our beautiful
new offices are located at 170 South Interstate
Plaza Drive, Suite 350, Lehi, Utah. We provide
aggressive, professional legal services to
clients throughout the State of Utah and the
mountain west.
Our attorneys are licensed to practice in all
state and federal courts in Utah, as well as
other jurisdictions in the Western United
States.
Our firm was originally founded in 1995 by
Marshall S. Witt and his partners. They took
over and built upon a very successful practice
by Ray Harding, Jr., who was appointed by
Governor Leavitt to serve as a Fourth District
Court Judge. Mr. Witt and his partner Brett C.
Anderson have continued to emphasize and develop
the attributes of aggressive and professional
representation. We have grown to become one of
the largest law firms in Utah and Wasatch
Counties.
Members of the Firm
Marshall S. Witt
Marshall Witt is a founding partner of the firm.
He grew up in Red Bluff, California and moved to
Utah in 1980. Marshall’s hobbies include
golfing, skiing, hiking, traveling and
exploring. His practice is mostly devoted to
serious personal injury and wrongful death
claims arising out of auto accidents, premises
and products liability and medical malpractice.
He also focuses on insurance subrogation
recovery. Mr. Witt received his Bachelor of Arts
degree from Brigham Young University in 1983. He
obtained a Masters of Arts degree in
International Law and Economics also from BYU in
1985 and in 1988 he earned his Juris Doctor
degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at
Brigham Young University. Mr. Witt is a former
member of the Alaska State Bar and a current
member of the Utah State Bar and the Utah Trial
Lawyers Association. Mr. Witt speaks Chinese and
Spanish.
Brett C. Anderson
Brett Anderson has been an attorney with our
firm since February of 2001. He practices in the
areas of civil and criminal trial and
litigation, real estate, collections,
construction law, personal injury and commercial
litigation. Mr. Anderson graduated with a
Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing with a
minor in Japanese from the University of Utah in
1994 and received his Juris Doctor degree from
Willamette University in 1998. He is a member of
the Utah State Bar Association and the Utah
Trial Lawyer’s Association. Mr. Anderson is
fluent in Japanese.
Chris C. Rogers
Chris became an associate at WITT & ANDERSON in
June of 2008. He moved from Destin, Florida to
Cedar Hills, Utah back in 1994. Chris received
his bachelor from Brigham Young University in
2000 and his Juris Doctor degree from University
of Utah in 2003. His legal responsibilities
include general civil litigation and family law.
Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and
three kids. He likes engaging in outdoor
activities and sports such as golf.
Kathryn Gardner
Kathy started with the firm’s predecessor in
August of 1994. She graduated in 1994 with her
Associate of Science in Paralegal Studies from
Utah Valley State College. Kathy’s areas of
responsibility include personal injury, probate,
wills, trusts, adoption, criminal defense, and
subrogation claims.
Michael J. Wise
Michael earned his Paralegal Certificate with a
Speciality in Civil Litigation in 1998. He
joined our firm in 2004. As a paralegal he
assists in family law, civil litigation, and
criminal defense. Michael is married and has
four children. Michael is fluent in Spanish.
Sheryl Witt
Sheryl joined the firm in 2005 as a legal
assistant. Previous to joining WITT & ANDERSON,
she worked for over 15 years as a Medicare
Hearing Officer for Blue Shield of California,
Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina, Aetna
and CIGNA. Sheryl is originally from Red Bluff,
California. Sheryl handles pre-litigation
personal injury claims and is also the firm
bookkeeper. Her hobbies include golfing, hiking,
gardening, remodeling houses and rooting for the
Jazz.
Maggie White
Maggie joined the firm in 2007. Maggie graduated
with her Associate of Science in Business
Management from Provo College in May 2008.
Maggie serves as the firms administrative
assistant, client development coordinator and
receptionist. Her hobbies include fishing,
hunting, camping or anything outdoors, watching
football, and going to Moab as often as
possible.
